Coherent Advisors tasked me with developing their branding, including logos, typography, color, and web design.

 

Coherent Advisors is a business consulting firm specializing in helping firms in the life sciences establish research and development pipelines, project management, and client relations. They needed a look that communicated their reputation for dynamic entrepreneurship and strategic thinking, something that spoke to both established corporate customers as well as startups.

I developed several logo concepts before landing on the idea of transforming the shape of the waves into the initials of the firm, CA. I added a thick ring to suggest looking through a telescope. Essentially, the waves represent the chaotic currents of the market. They are both analyzed and contained by the vision of Coherent Advisors. Per the client’s request, I also added the firm’s name in a modified script typeface called Alex Brush.
